In Japanese Hiragana, Ki is one of the kana, It is hard to define exactly what Ki means, in fact it is used to mean something that cannot be defined – a feeling or idea that will become clear eventually.
In Chinese, Ki or Qi is the source from which all life came. It has no beginning or end; it cannot become larger or smaller; it can never change. In daily life, a person filled with Ki is energetic, alive and dynamic. Without Ki one has no life force.
It may sound a bit high brow and even arrogant for us to use the name Ki when related to audio production, but we simply wanted to convey the nature of the kind of custom audio we produce. We are happy to deal with the projects that can’t immediately be defined, but which will eventually become clear and flourish. And, naturally, we believe our audio is dynamic and full-of-life.
